Privacy

MotoDrill counts which pages and features get used. That is all it counts.

What is collected

  • Which pages are opened, how far down they are read, and which features are used, such as opening a figure, jumping to a section or switching language.
  • Your browser, screen size, and country, worked out from the request and then discarded.

What is never collected

  • Anything that identifies you, apart from what you send through the sign-up form. There are no accounts and no device or advertising identifiers.
  • Where or when you ride. No location, no ride trace, no sensor data, no time of day.
  • Anything you type. The app has no free-text field that is sent anywhere.

Where it goes

The analytics run on a server operated by MotoDrill. No third-party analytics company receives your visit, and no data is sold, or shared outside the development group.

What stays on your device

Your analytics choice; which stories and field notes you have opened, so new ones can be marked; and your drill log: each start and stop, with the time and your phone's location. The log never leaves your phone unless you export it.

On — thank you, this is how the site gets better.

If you sign up

The sign-up form on the home page sends us the information you provide. Netlify, which hosts this site, stores it. It is used to reply to you and, if you ticked “Keep me informed”, to tell you when MotoDrill is available. Nothing is sold, or shared outside the development group. To have your information deleted, email us with the address you submitted, and it will be deleted within 30 days.
